Darren Cordeux is a Melbourne based Producer/Songwriter who also played in the bands Kisschasy & Fuzz Phantoms. As the main songwriter for Kisschasy, Darren has sold over 100,000 records, had 3 albums and 2 singles certified Gold, been nominated for ARIA and MTV Awards, won Channel V Oz Artist Of The Year and had numerous radio tracks supported by Triple J, Community and Commercial Networks.
Darren’s interest in producing came from making records in Australia and the US with World class producers such as Rob Schnapf(Beck, Elliot Smith), Chris Sheldon(Foo Fighters, Pixies), Barrett Jones(Nirvana, Foo Fighters) and Phil McKellar(Silverchair, Grinspoon). In only a short period of time behind the desk, Darren has produced records for Jonesez, Kite Club, The Statics, Fuzz Phantoms and set up his own studio called “The Cabin” which is located in Jack The Bear’s Deluxe Mastering Facility in Brunswick, Melbourne.
As an Artist, Darren is signed to Eleven, Sony ATV for Publishing and managed by John Watson Management. His Production/Songwriting work is looked after by Jai Al-Attas & Sam Pearton.
